This cluster has been decommissioned in 2024.
Lemaitre3 was introduced to replace Lemaitre2 and was hosted at UCLouvain (CISM).
It featured 78 compute nodes equipped with
two 12-core Intel Skylake 5118 CPUs @ 2.3 GHz and 95 GB RAM (≈ 3970 MB/core).
All nodes were interconnected via an Omni-Path fabric (OPA 56 Gbps) and had access to a fast
440 TB BeeGFS parallel filesystem.
Suitable for:
Massively parallel MPI jobs (tens of cores), requiring high communication throughput and/or
heavy parallel disk I/O.
Max wall time: 2 days.
Resources
- Home directory (100 GB quota per user)
- Working directory
/scratch($GLOBALSCRATCH) - Internet access available on compute nodes
- Max 100 running jobs/user
- Queues*:
- Default queue — Max 2 days, Skylake processors
- Debug queue — Max 6 hours, Haswell processors
