This cluster has been decommissioned in 2024.

Lemaitre3 was introduced to replace Lemaitre2 and was hosted at UCLouvain (CISM).
It featured 78 compute nodes equipped with
two 12-core Intel Skylake 5118 CPUs @ 2.3 GHz and 95 GB RAM (≈ 3970 MB/core).

All nodes were interconnected via an Omni-Path fabric (OPA 56 Gbps) and had access to a fast
440 TB BeeGFS parallel filesystem.

Suitable for:

Massively parallel MPI jobs (tens of cores), requiring high communication throughput and/or
heavy parallel disk I/O.
Max wall time: 2 days.

Resources

  • Home directory (100 GB quota per user)
  • Working directory /scratch ($GLOBALSCRATCH)
  • Internet access available on compute nodes
  • Max 100 running jobs/user
  • Queues*:
    • Default queueMax 2 days, Skylake processors
    • Debug queueMax 6 hours, Haswell processors

Access / Support

This cluster is decommissioned and no longer accessible.
